I had a great day out yesterday at the show, however I looked around the silverstone auctions compound and the car was no where to be seen, I checked before posting that it's still on the auction listing so can only assume that it either had not arrived at that time or was stored elsewhere?

Looking at the number of the cars on the auction listing I dont think all the cars on the listing were on display.

I had a chat with the guys on the Z register stand as they had 2 Samuris on display, a 240 and a 260.......they assured me both cars were genuine and the 240 was not the car due to be sold in the auction.

So I never got the pics I promised, so apologies Guys.....:D

Well I was there on Friday all day and the 'Samuri' certainly was on the Silverstone Auctions stand as I had a good look round it. The engine bay was absolutely immaculate but the whole of the dashboard was covered in some weird black felty-furry stuff which I did not like at all. Made it look a bit like a pimp mobile.

Although £48k is a lot of money, I've seen exceptional "normal" 240's advertised for near that so how much of a premium was paid due to it being one of Spike's cars?

A fool and his money....

I'm not saying the cars aren't worth it, just really really don't see the value in this. Where is it? The paint job?
