Cheers, sounds better in real life :D

Back to the dyno today :driving:
Glad to say it didn't go bang and it held up well, but it also didn't make the power I thought it might
Apparently my cheap intercooler is too cheap lol, pushing up the air temps way too much on boost
But it still made 630 odd hp so am more then happy with it now

Think i'll just leave it be now and drive it :)

630 is still crazy for weight of your car. Will be stupid quick.

Power curve looks great, its not coming on to strongly, quite a nice transition so should be good to help with traction.

Pro Alloy should still have the blueprint I made for my Inter cooler, its top quality and as big as you can fit in the space we have. You could go the same way, it can easily cool the air from my twin turbos so should be no problem for a single. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Er, how much were you hoping for Wyn?

750 was the goal I built it to

It could still make nearer that but I need a bigger/better cooler

But having driven it now @ 600 + I know that is totally impractical for the car
tbh its like sitting in a speed boat with a v8 in the back, the thing is all over the place :D

Am happy where its at for now ...

Ian, you know it. Still it's nice to have a sleeper to potter about in on the weekends
Was told it could have made more torque, but at the expense of traction, hence the smoother power delivery to make it more driveable.
As for the cooler its something I can look into at a later date but as it is am happy where its at now.
Hopefully it will be a reliable usable engine now, so maybe best leave it be

Sorting the suspension is next ... :D

I'm sure you don't need more torque, much better with the smooth curve like you have, more useable so its actually quicker this way.

If you ever need (you won't so I should say want) more power you've always got that option available. Just as long as your intake temps are ok with the setup the way it is at the moment.

Get the chassis/suspension setup perfected now and you'll be loving it.

Should you ever feel it would be beneficial there is always the option for wider rubber if you go custom wheels, I worked out I can fit 245's on my standard arches with a custom wheel and I know for a fact you can run 265's easily with flares with a custom size wheel.

I want to see/hear some more videos of the beast in action.

I still need to get out there and drive it fully, as atm it was just on the way back so to speak, but even so I can already see the suspension etc needs setting up and improving to cope. That alone with all the silly jobs to do will keep me busy

Maybe next week... maybe lol

btw will add a few vids when it dries up
