Get the parts I need to complete the engine rebuild (Turbo, exhaust manifold, full gasket set, heads skimmed if needed, head bolts etc etc) and put it all back together. Fix the leak into the boot (main seal, or light seals I dunno which will probably replace them both). Sort out the rust patches at the bottom of the rear wings. Clean derust the boot floor plan and treat and paint it. Give her a bloody good going over and clean for the MOT ... not much :(

1. Install Cobra Sidewinder seats purchased last year (done today!).
2. Install R33 Brembos on the rear to match the fronts. Will paint the calipers in orange all around to represent the club colors.
3. Replace the transmission that has started to act up.
4. Replace or rebuild the motor after it goes bang, almost to 200K on the original NA engine...

Fitting an upgraded clutch, which I will be performing with a pall hopefully this weekend, and then getting her rolling road tuned.

Also have a HKS ITB and surge tank project I'd like to try, but that's way down the line but parts hunting has started now. :D

Repainting suspension in nice satin black (one front strut done, need to get on with the other side!), oil change this weekend, replace clutch slave cylinder hose with nice new stainless braided one that arrived from Mike today (thanks!), tighten up handbrake adjustment so that I don't fail the MOT in May, re-Dinitrol all cavities and underbody... other than that, not much. The imminent arrival of Little Parker in 8 weeks has kind of put me off massive spending and complicated projects on the Z for the moment. I might get on with fitting my ceramic-coated NISMO manifold and a new JDM-style twin pipe system but it has slipped down the spending priorities somewhat! That might have to wait until autumn or next winter now. New carpets would also be nice, as would the correct centre console (my car should have the early-style one but is fitted with the late-71 onwards version). Overall, I just want to drive and enjoy the car on the (dwindling) opportunities I'm going to get!

Went out on Weds evening and had a glorious blast all over the "Golden Triangle" (Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Prestbury, etc.). Even after months of no use through winter the car is so consistent.

Not alot to report, first event went ok, me and the car left the circuit at the end of the day unaided with no damage to either of us.........same with the second one and hope the same will happen again on Sunday.......

Apart from that I've got to say its the most fun I've had with my clothes on!

I think I will sweep my garage floor round about my z to get rid of that brown dust that keeps appearing. I really can't think what it might be but it's so annoying!:rofl:

That went way over my head :). As
long as you got a good one you can make as many as you want. Just buy a kit from Frosts.
