F1 Competion

Sean, I got up and watched it too. I don't really think that the new rules have added any excitement.

The qualifying is a joke! How many other sports would put up with this unfair system. Basically because of the weather on Saturday, the race result was dictated by your qualifying order (i.e. when you were due on track). That can't be right.

Fisichella drove well but had tremedous luck. M Schumacher deserves a penalty for causing the accident with Heidfeld, there are lives and vasts amount of money at stake. Alonso appeared to be most motivated 'racer' out there. Anyway I enjoyed the added fun of our competition, so we all have to catch Suzy now!

My apologies to Rob Gaskin who pointed out I outdid him of 2 points !

So Rob is joint 13th with 8 points ! That's great 'cos nobody's last !

I dsidn't get to see qualifying and as I missed the warm up and grid explanations, I wondered how the positions were as they were after 7 laps with no accidents !

Yeah Schumies' fault there and both Germans out of the race - oops !

Sean

I wish you hadn't posted it like that Steve!!

Now you know why I didn't share my predictions!

Well what chaos :) I wish they'd just stuck to superpole though, the qualifying was fun with just the one flying lap.

Was also nice seeing Shumie and Raikonnen (sp?) hounding it past the back of the pack at the start :)

Cheers Sean for sorting the points and such!

So its obvious and I don't miss it/forget myself

Next deadline is Midnight GMT Wednesday 16th!

Well done to Suzy, Russ, etc that made least mistakes with their prevision ! All the other have got a fair amount of catch up to do.

I can openly admit that I stayed in bed and watched the replay ! The qualifying is a joke, there are real men out on the circuit, in the pits and back at base being manipulated by a bunch of wallys ! The highlights for me : -
1. The focused charge by Fernandito Alonso
2. The reigning champion pusshing off a fellow countryman ( he should have known better )
3. The Toyotas and Red Bull were surprisingly competitive.

Any of you want to come to the GP in Shanghai or Barcelona with me ???? I´ve already got my tickets.

Forgot all about it till i just looked on the site, still can't complain in joint first place if i'm reading it right. Not bad for a guess.

Grolls, as you and Will Smith said !!!!!! I'll have to post mine up via someone else, probably Steve L as I won't have email next week - I'll be your side of the water checking on my car amongst othr stuff !

i'll look forward to you buying me 16 pints oops litres of lager and a packet of crisps!:D

Where do you live then ? Or does that mean you might actually drive your car and come over here where the sun shines and one can still drive across country roads NOT sitting in a traffic jam ?

Sean, Worcester Park, near Epsom/kingston. i can assure you as soon as this car's finnished i will be spending alot of time in France/Spain/Italy where the food/wine/roads and sun are better than here..... has anyone got a magic wand i can use to speed things up?
