BRE racing tribute 280 on BaT

Somewhere between $ 22k and $ 25k.

Would be a lot more if a 240Z.
BAT generally brings in top prices for nice cars.
 
BRE 'tribute' cars are the S30-series Z's equivalent of the GULF colours cliche.

There used to be quite enough of them, but now there's far too much enough...

That's been true of late. The site has grown massively in the last year or two or seems to have , no. of auctions etc.

Top prices for 911s and derivatives. Every other car is a 911/912/993/996 etc or some American boat-sized thing or so it seems.

I've been waiting for a nice Z to come up for a while to see how it fared. Love the comments though - owners are quizzed and cars dissected. If it's a lemon, or the '73 had double stitching on the seat base and you've got single and you're claiming originality, you'll be found out pretty quickly! :D
 
What's the general opinion on the look of the front with the 280 valence but 240 bumpers?

The car mentioned that's similar is a 240z by the way and not a 280z.

I thought that was red GTO 'copies' ?

And now that ludicrous blue 'breadvan' !
