Bad News

You are being brave.....you've just had an unwanted lesson is how fagile we are and how life is short - so live it, don't make a shrine out of the car - use it, be here if you can but I'd like to know YOUR name - you are your own man and not Jnr anymore. You can change your text now too.

I think I once met your Dad nearly 20 years ago but neither of us registered it. Since, we've had some great moments here and I've already missed him these last few weeks and will continue to do so - a great man with a young sense of humour ; you can be proud of him as he would be of you.

My sincere sympathies for your family.

Christian, your Dad's proudest moment that I know - when you won the karting at Billing . He was also very impressed with your video editing, he will live on in you as I hope I will in my kids.

From my family to yours, deepest sympathies.

Mr Ex was (and will live on in many minds) as a great guy, with a great sense of humour.

Was always great times chatting with him at shows and meets, he will be missed greatly.

Like Sean said, don't let the Sam become a shrine, let it be used and loved too.

Sorry to be so late picking up this news - Allan and I go back a long way. Almost to the origins of the Z Club. I have fond memories of our early meetings together and he was always in touch on a regular basis.

Christian,

Why somehow ? If it's because you're too young to get insured on the Sam. aren't there any suggestions from others here to allow you to drive it ? It isn't the same turning up in a Corsa.......!

its just gunna be very costly to put me on the insurance am only 18 with a years no claims hav to wait till am 21 hopefully try and find sum1 old enough to drive it to sum shows

Thoughts are with you and the family buddy. I never met your dad but enjoyed his company on the forum. I lost my dad when I was 20 so have an idea what you are going through. Hold on to your memories of him. They will never fade.
Hope to meet you sometime
