Bad News

So sorry to here of your loss. Never knew your Dad but we had conversed via the NZ forum
and he passed on pics of his Sam. Hope he enjoyed his stay in NZ.. Deepest sympathy.

Condolences to you and your family Mr Ex Jnr. It will almost be stranger than fiction to not see posts from your father in the future, not half as strange as it is for you right now.

Your dad always had something of interest to say, and in a humourous manner.

Sincerely hope you can find someone trustworthy enough to drive the Samuri along to meets, with you riding shot gun. May the memories of your dad and the Samuri live on at events or whenever the insurance isn't quite so expensive for you to take the reins.

Rest in peace Mr Ex - I'm sure you'll find something to keep you amused in Z heaven (I hear there's no speed camera's up there ;) )

its just gunna be very costly to put me on the insurance am only 18 with a years no claims hav to wait till am 21 hopefully try and find sum1 old enough to drive it to sum shows

Christian, there is no panic about what to do with the car. It's in a nice dry garage and can wait a few months until you are able to think about it.

Insurance - that might be a problem now even just to have 'laid-up' cover. If your Mum can drive that might be something she has to do (even though she might not drive it). Please don't be tempted to give it a run sometime.

yeh my mum has driven it be4 dunno wat she gunna do abut insurance am gunna hav to wiat at least till am 21 or older be4 driving it

To the few Z "dos" have been in the last couple of years, Mr Ex was always there. A stalwart and a chap easy to talk to.

Sorry to read this. From all within the Z community, those who knew your father and those like myself who did not have what seems to have been the great pleasure of knowing him as a friend, our deepest condolences.

Be strong for your family, and know that your fathers friends will always be here if you need an ear to bend or a shoulder for support.

Remember the good times and he will always be with you. :)

so sorry to hear to the news.never knew your dad but he came accross on here as a top class bloke and a z fanatic. i remember him giving me a bit of stick when huddersfield beat brighton 7-1 last season and was looking foward to posting a comment when tables are turned this season...sadly missed

Have you tried Dayinsure, or maybe even Tiger?

I'm sure a couple of days insurance will still be expensive, but it might just be worth it???

My apologies for lateness, I'm sorry to hear your news. I met Mr Ex at a club weekend a few years back and he was a really nice guy, interesting to chat to. He will be missed for sure, always a top contributor. Stay strong and don't worry about the Z for now, it'll look after itself just fine until you're ready.
