You may get it for £9k, possibly less.
Seems a reasonable price to me?
If I was in the market for a later model classic within that budget I would give it serious consideration.

A cynic knows the price of everything and the value of nothing as Oscar Wilde said.

The value in these type of cars comes from the originality and superior condition.
One owner, low mileage, original paint, never welded and rust free.
Those five factors put any classic model of any type in it's respective higher price bracket.

I would always pay the premium over a standard/average example that may be bought for a bit less money but may have had multiple owners, a bit of welding and paint here and there, higher mileage, tatty interior etc etc

The more angular shapes of the late 80's onwards are becoming more fashionable again so maybe now is the time for the Z31 to step forward. Funny how there seems to be a real bias against the N/A cars compared to the Turbo cars amongst Z31 owners.

At £10k advertised, I would more seriously consider a Z32 n/a in any format - 2+2, 2x seater, cabriolet and in manual and auto formats.......and most probably look at importing from from the States.....but I guess if there are those who must have a RHD at all odds, there options are reduced...JDM import ?

I hope that you're not inferring me as cynical buddy ? :p I've had 3x of these and I much preferred the n/a versions both in auto 2+2 and 2x seater manual than the manual turbo !

I reckon it'll sell better at £6k tops.....£10k for an '80s sports GT.....there is a lot of choice, take your pick and consider resale value too :

Plenty of Germans, other Japanese and what about a TVR 350/390 ?

You may right Sean, it possibly is slightly overpriced at full dealer asking price but everything is negotiable.
I don't have any experience of the Z31 model but was offered a one owner from new 30k mile car which was immaculate in all respects a couple of years ago at around the price you mentioned. Tempted but it was an Auto as well as N/A and that was just enough to put me off.

I think the Z32 is a prettier car although too modern for my tastes and would always take an S130 over either of them, especially in factory Turbo format ;)

Q.E.D yes, everything is but no-one will expect 'im to knock off £5k and why I beleive it'll take time to sell...........I'm not knocking the car, my French wife loved going to work with one T-top off in the auto n/a, aircon and with a 4-speed auto box, it was nifty enough and 'relatively' frugal.

And auto.....man, I saw a lovely white Z32 2x seater n/a T-top with a beige leather interior on BAT a few months back - real purdey she was...and here is another similar one but 2+2 :

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-nissan-300zx-36/ Now, you'd pay a fortune in kidneys for the same blend of leather and tweed in a Singer Porsche.......and 'this' car won the 1994 24 Hours of Daytona overall, won its class at the 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans (finishing 5th overall !) and won IMSA Manufacturer's and Driver's championships in 1992 and 1994.

Not seen a 2-seater Z31 for sale in the UK yet!

Nice in slick-top form or get a 50th Nissan anniversary turbo - quick and 'light'.

Today, I'd probably go for a stock-ish 350Z.
