Or you'll cry. Just taken my 260 to be MOT'd (failure list reads like war and peace ! only joking). The mechanic/idiot that had been doing it put new needles and springs in the carbs and "tuned" it. The work he has done is so good I have backfired 2 miles to the MOT place ! It was like gunfight at the OK Corral and I'm sure a few people had heart failure as a result of the racket. I also had to brake about 5 mins before a junction as a result of him "bleeding" the brakes. Anyway, obviously it failed but at least I know what is needed now, not too much welding so actually quite pleased.:D
 
there are too many pillocks about today pretending to be mechanics even if you go to a 'proper' garage the service seems to be crap and if you dare to complain it just gets crappier. they charge megga£ per hour and turn out shit work. The joke is that they call it a SERVICE department.
 
I don't know about the mpg Sean but I certainly needed 17mg of valium per mile !! lol
