Wont Start - Getting Fuel

I just pulled an 83 280zx non turbo GL out of storage after about 5 years and decided to get it into descent shape to save some gas. Redid the interior and under the hood replaced:
Fuel Injectors
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug Wires
Fuel Filter
Dist Cap
Rotor
Battery Terminals
New Red Top Optima Battery
I put some new gas with some additive in it and fixed a fuel leak off the fuel pump right after lol. Went to start it and the fuel pump kicks on nicely and theres plenty of fuel going into the fuel rail and I could smell gas on the plugs when I pulled em out, but it just wont fire or even try. Just turns over. Spark and all. The fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail may not be working correctly and maybe the coil is going out? Seems like the spark is on the weak side. Any Ideas?? Spent lots of money on this car, and now it looks nice but doesnt go. Please Help

The car gets fuel you say, it turns and no sign of ignition, and you are sure the cap and rotor fits right, what about firing order, if your dizzy are mounted correct no1 should be at 9 o'clock counting 153624 counter clockwise.
Have you gapped your spark plugs correct.
Have you tried to measure the fuel preassure.

Thanks for the quick help. yeah, double checked cap and rotor and the fire sequence. By the end of the day i had the sequence memorized. Gapped em when i put them in and checked em again after it wouldn't fire. I haven't tried measuring the fuel pressure but i did pull the fuel filter without discharging the pressure and i can tell you from the experience it definitely had pressure lol but as you suggest maybe not enough. I cracked one of the lines that comes off the backside of the fuel rail under the fuel pressure regulator and bled all the air out of the rail until fuel was coming out and also replaced that rubber. I dont know a whole lot about these things, but i am thinking of checking the output of the coil if possible. Read something about a list of sensors that could be messing with ignition that i might check into. Hoping it has nothing to do with the ECM.

Hi there,
My only injection problems were on a TR6.
I had a combination of problems,
pump was working but the pressure was down - solution, used jump cables from another car, which made sure there was enough electric juice.
firing order from the dizzy was correct, but the metering/injectors were incorrect, recommend you double check this.

I would be tempted to put the old injectors back in, and see if that starts.

Hey, you are in CA !!.... this is a UK forum, i would try to sign up on classiczcars.com if i were you, sblake will probably chime in with a solution.
It's not that you are not welcome here, but you will have a fair chance that there will be help in your area, where in CA are you located.

If your getting fuel to the engine and a spark at the plugs, I'd try removing the plugs, drying them and giving them a warm up with a hot air gun, then get an oil can and give each cylinder a couple of squirts of clean engine oil, put the plugs back in and give it a go
