wiring?

tis me again!,
whilst taking the doors off the kaminari, i came across a large multiplug connector in the N/S wall of the footwell-just below the electric window loom.
i cant remember seeing one on my 2+2.
it doesnt look factory-but has serial no on it.
can anyone shed any light?( it has maybe 20+ connectors on it)
i have a complete set of electrics from a 2+2 i scrapped a few years ago, so if it turns out to be essential -i hope i have the bits.

It Might Be Your Ecu.is It Attached To A Large Blackbox About 7" Square.

from what i saw moggy, the ecu is there, mounted just underneath the glove box?

this car has had a somewhat chequered history i believe & the dash has been mucked about with.

Could it possibly be an alarm unit? Any make or markings on it? Sometimes doing a google search on a serial number or a name can reveal quite a bit.

just had a rummage in the spares box-i have a unit, pale green with an alloy front-it still has the old connector on it from my 2+2. its the same one.

just as well i took the doors off, or i wouldnt have found the multi plug & would have been scratching my head wondering why it wouldnt run.

the ecu i have is for an auto
ZXS (whom i got the car from) are sending me one up,
