Whoopee

If these are brand new springs front and rear, don't you think it seems odd that the front sits the highest considering that's where all the weight is ?

For info - I run 225/50/16 :)

Don't forget the car has been up in the air for nearly a year and has only rolled 10ft forward so far, I think it will settle a bit yet. I was thinking it might have something to do with the new roll bars being while it was up in the air.

Regarding your wheel tyre combo I think you're running tyres that are to small, You should be using 60 profile tyres otherwise your speedo will be reading wrong.

Rob as zeadhead260 sugests check the front is not sitting on the bump stops I've had this problem with lowered cars several times before. Also 225 50 16 tyres give the same rolling radius as the original 70 14 profile tyres. I also run 225 50 16 at the moment.

Anti- roll bars wont make any change to the ride height of a car as it just swings on its rubbers

speedo readings in my experience with non standard wheel and tyre choice makes only 5-6 mph, variant just take your sat nav and remember the variant, to many things to mess around with diff ratios and stuff

I ask because I think there is a limit to how low you can get the front down before the damper rests on it's bump stops. If you could see the damper/bump stop you'd know, but if you have the stock damper dust covers it will hide it - I think it is worth a look.

Your not wrong Rob, there is a limit to how low you can go before your riding on the bumpstops with no compression damping left....

I've had a good look at the front susp today and its not sitting on the stops so I think it's either going to settle a bit more or not, To be honest I'm not that bothered because the car is sitting level on the ground, Maybe just a bit rear high but not much.

We'll see what it looks like in a few weeks when I ragging it about the back roads lol.
