My standard 1984 turbo Z31 alloy's are not to bad really but they are chipped and a just bit oxidised. Anyone got any good ideas on how/who to get them refurbished? Is powder coating the only alternative? Any suggestions on going for new alloys appreciated as well - the only problem is that this might up my insurance premium.

I used a company called Spit 'n' Polish for my Z32 wheels. They repaired a minor ding and power coated them for about £37 each. Makes cleaning a 10 second doddle rather than a 10 minute pain !

A few years back they used to give Z club members a small discount as far as I can remember. Worth a try as if you don't ask you don't get.

My recommendation for the South is Lepsons in Gillingham (01795 844022). I have seen some very impressive refurbishments done by them and I believe they will collect personally .
