Hi,
Turbo Vecs you have are ok but look better on a 280 I think.
Go with the Wolfrace mags!

Funny you should mention it but I've been pondering the very same thing all day! I was dead set on changing my wheels but a few people have said they like them as they are.... any comments?

Slot mags are best....

I think you should all look to get some nice retro slot mags....:)
But then again i may just be saying that cause ill be putting mine up for sale soon....very nice full set of five polished with center caps  as i've just purchased datsun daves wheels.....

ryan i love the wheels you've got at the moment, they suit your zed down to the ground, i'd say if you were to change then buy 3 more like netpreferences as they'd be just as cool, the look sort of defines the zed, now i know alot of people will probably disagree with me and i know the second most important thing after the engine on any sports car is the rims, plus i know this is being hippocritical as i have 17" tsw on mine but standardish rims make an older car make sense. like an mg looks good on wire wheels, lancia deltas look better on pepper pots etc etc. i'm sure the older my zed gets the more i'll want to return it to origonal spec.

the alternative view is that which luke borg once said to me. "if you like it then its right" if i started to care overly about other peoples opinons then i'd have to take the spoiler, skirts, rims, interior etc, i just think if i can afford it and i like it then at the end of the day its mine so i'll dam well do it.

i'm sure whatever you decide will be right

I have always had a soft spot for the Slots. Wolfrace IMO were the first REAL aftermarket wheel supplier and the best.

Lots to choose from now but on a classic car they look like they are in the right place. Go for it mate. :)

I'd go for something deep like these. i tried to buy this one at auction in japan but I didn't have enough on her. The rims are what made the car look so nice , she was mint too though

Me personally would prefer the Wolfrace, mind you that has nothing to do with me having a set for sale...;)

Ignore us, do what you want, personally I prefer the Wolfies but my opinion matters not. If I had the money I'd get RS Watanabes (which I believe are in Neomans photo) but £££ :)

i think the problem is that the other wheels look small on your car which is a shame as they are quite different to most other wheels you see on datsun's.

just my opinion

i saw a black 240 z wearing american racing chromed alloys it just looked so right and would suit the 260 just as well .......

Does that mean his car will never get finished off?:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

*addition* if you like it then its right (who cares what anyone else thinks, i mean look at my spoiler! that things ludicrious) secondly look at your wallet, if you like it and can afford it then just do it, you only live once buddie.

Try to make the right choice in the first place, style, dia, radius, I am now on my 5th set of alloys & still not convinced I like them enough to keep them, this gets very expensive especially if buying new ones + tyres. At the end of the day wheels do make a car, everyones tastes are different so its down to your own personnal taste. At least if you fit slotmags they where virtually a standard fitment on UK supplied Z's need to be 7" though.

Hi Guys, Thanks for all the advice - ive gone and spent my money on some Slots from Peter Mac - and hes polishing them up for me! Will post pics once there on!

Thanks all
