What did you do to your Z this week?

Been nice over weekend so today got car out this morning and took it for little drive

Popped down to Japday. It was hot. There were the usual suspects running, but I didn't see any quick times.

Well after those little jobs I mentioned earlier,forgot to mention the rear wheel cylinders being replaced ,went for a blast down to Epping about 40 mile round trip,All good.little story that might make some of you laugh,I was filling up at Stansted services,got talking to a little Indian guy whilst waiting to pay,followed him with his family onto the slip road that leads to the A120 ,as I was almost parallel With them I floored it,the noise was superb,I noticed the whole family jumped ,wondering wot the F--- was that,laughed my nuts off

LOL - yes, it would be perfect for rebuilding an engine on!!! Complete with tool chest just below the "workbench". The missus may have a different view ;)
 
Nightmare with the other flexi today. I ordered these from the US about a year ago or more and they've been sitting in a drawer with loads of other stuff awaiting fitting. I could not get the pipe to seat correctly, and after tooling and frying for ages, have found out the two pipes I was sent, are not the same! Hopefully my friendly local motor factor might have something tomorrow ...
 
This 240z was on a japshow video on YouTube from today anyone see it

I saw that one in the car park at a distance, didn't have a chance to look closely. Always nice to see an new one.

Nearly right, he is a freelance TV and film cameraman. Think they call them "VJs" or something equally trendy these days I went with him last week to Tatton Park for the
"Stars and Stripes" car show which I think you mentioned a while ago? Good day out, used about 14 gallons of juice!
 
Popped down to the northern retro show yesterday in Huddersfield with the Z - could only stay 30 mins and was late arriving but was nice to see some other cars out. No other Zs though.

Then took the mrs and the dog up to the local farm shop in it as well as a lovely drive around howarth etc as well. No pics though I really need to get better at that...

I've seen the 2 tone zed before. It does look really nice with lots of good touches. The colour scheme works well IMO.

Aww an gutted about that was looking for meet to go to tomorrow in zed you should said you was off I would have met you there

It was a spur of the minute thing - mrs wasn't ready to go shopping and I knew it was on but didn't plan to go - but I knew she'd be a couple of hours doing bits in the house and getting ready so thought "f@ck it" and just went down.

There is a big northern retro meet on 12/13th August as well. I'm down for the Sunday, some airfield in Huddersfield?
