Warning light error

The warning light on the dash is showing a red light. When you press the switch it shows the tail light as the problem, but all the lights are working fine. The rest of the system check shows green or amber. This has just started happening and was previously perfect, all the system checks were green. Any thoughts?
 
It woudl help if we knew which warning light? there are several red ones :)

If it's showing a taillight problem, and the lights are fine, I would guess it might be an earth problem on one of the bulbs, or a wiring problem.
 
The tail light warning is a sum check of the total resistance of all the bulbs (inc. the licence plate bulbs I think). A change of resistance will trigger the warning. Check all bulbs are the same specification and change any that look as if they are on their last legs (dark deposits on inside of bulb glass).
