When I 'click' on a picture in a post I don't have the facility to use an arrow or keyboard to view the next one. I have to close the one and open the next!

Anybody else get this?

Always done it since we switched to our new system.

Anybody else on Windows 7 that can check for us? I don't have access to a Windows 7 machine to see what's happening.

So am I the only one who has to use the back arrow and open the next attachment?

Is it not possible for you to update your Windows OS Rob? Windows 7 dates from 2009! The world has moved on a bit since ... !
Saying that, I know it's a big cost to just be able to look at attachments quicker (if it indeed that) - but I don't know anyone using Windows 7 - or 8 either!
Windows 8 came out in 2012 apparently - a whole SIX years ago - so a lifetime in the PC world ...

I use a mixture of windows 10, 7, and xp. Plus the iphone. On the old system I would need to close the picture then open the next. After the change I could then move through the pictures. I’ll confirm this at work this morning as all their business pc’s Must use xp and some windows 7 for comparability with their main software.

How much and where is the best place to buy from?

Upgrades tend to cause problems so I usually stick with what I've got. I think Steve B had problems with Windows 10.

I've got a cyclist mate who has bought some 'fancy' hearing aids that work in conjunction with his phone - anyway he has updated his phone software and now they don't work. Like my TV - I bought a new one and had to replace the VHS (yes I know!) and DVD player. When I bought this PC I had to replace my printer.

I still miss my old camera flash-gun with exploding bulbs!

Rob - Everyone has problems with windows 10......but its the future and does tend to be a little quicker than 7.

Just tried viewing pictures on windows 7 and once the first picture has been opened you can then go through them with the left/right buttons.

Just tried on XP and ie does not display properly at all. Tried firefox and it displays OK but opens the pictures on a new page. This is just the usual buggy firefox so doesn't surprise me.

Thanks John - I'm amazed anyone is running XP anymore! Sounds like it might be something peculiar to your setup Rob.

It's only this site though Matt.

If I look at ebay pics or car-auction sites I can scroll through the pictures.

I am prepared to give Windows 10 a go but I can just anticipate the consequences and grief. At least I have a tablet and phone as back-up.

XP is still widely used in situation where 7 is not an option. I even look after 98 95 and 3.11 but these are part of very expensive CNC machines. It still amazes me just how fast this older equipment is in comparison to the modern crap.

What version of IE are you using Rob I've only tested it on 11. It may not be an OS issue. What other forums have you found that work fine?

I use Chrome but I've got IE on my 'icon' bar along the bottom of the screen. If I click on it it wants to change my Homepage - worth a try?

Ok guys, I've bought a new computer and I'm on Windows 10 now and Chrome.

I STILL CAN'T SCROLL ON THIS SITE!

If I look at Silverstone Auctions or Ebay etc etc I can scroll using left or right arrows.

Do I have to post a video for anyone to believe me?

I believe you Rob - that should have fixed it! Can you go to a gallery post, click on the picture and do a print screen for me? (Windows key + prt scn key)
