I take it you're going to check the manifold to head match then, especially given your perceived poor quality.

Yes Nigel I try it on my spare 2.8 engine, Though I'm not saying the manifold itself is poor quality just the other bits that are supplied in the kit don't work together as they should, I shouldn't have to drill out holes or grind metal off the rods to make it work should I, The manifold to carb fit could of easily been sorted out with a bit of forethought by the people that designed it, 30 seconds worth of machining would of solved the problem with the choke fitment, The other bits is just plain laziness by webcon or who ever.
