I've just got back after a short break down south this week. I had 227 'New Posts' when I logged in but I did some membership stuff first and ended closing the site by mistake, next time I looked I had 8 'New Posts' - can I search for unread ones (I know about 'Todays Posts').
 
Been there, done that, (well, don't know where you been, but it was south, so if I aint been I probably been close )

In my experience, nope, that's it, gone.

You can "mark all forums read" and then click "new posts" which will say that there isn't any and give you a link to the last 24 hours.

Other than that it Forum listing page, and looking at the last post dates.

Best I could do, but sorry you missed the "we shot Sean" thread :)
