If you are into rallying and have access to Motors TV watch or record 'The Top Ten Rally Cars' at 7pm tomorrow!

I've watched it tonight and it is wonderful. I've seen a few of these sorts of films but the section on Andy Burton's Peugeot Cosworth is fantastic!

What I like is the fact that he has designed and built the car himself (a Hereford Farmer) and drives it superbly. If you don't enjoy this you are dead from the neck up!

Yep I've still got the ringing in my ears from Andy's cozzy blasting through Alwen forest on this years Cambrian rally earlier this month:bow:  .

Just phoned the wife to record it as i@m on afternoosn and the freeview ain't got motors TV.

Cheers

You'll love it!

I did the Cambrian Rally twice as a navigator. Once in a Mini (1275GT Clubman body, very modified S Spec), once in an Avenger (Tiger spec). Finished 5 o/a in the Avenger. It was in the mid 70s when the rally was special stages on Anglesey in the afternoon and then a road rally in N Wales at night.

Now they use the Great Orme as a special stage, seen that on the RAC in the 60s. Bjorn Waldegard in a 911!!

Don't start me off!

Happy days

Done 3 Cambrian's 2 in a Mk1 Astra, including the orme one year and Colywn Bay prom the next (both on slicks ), no outstanding results, then later another thrash in a Skoda Estelle, was leading the class till a 90 right over crest in the dark saw me parked in the back of a spectators sierra 4x4, in the ditch as the other two drove past.... (advantage arrows had gotten robbed )

Quality event, 2007's was the first visit to Alwen and Clocaenog for any rally cars this season given they cancelled the Astra Stages (old Mintex) early part of 2007 and the bulldog centres on Dolgellau, it’s been a rather dull season from the now speccy point of view, and to top that I’ve also spent all season watching or officiating at Loton due to my L26 expiring in March.

Hey ho

See ya, can’t wait to finish this shift and get home to watch the Sky+.
