Just a thought Dave but have you tried Limewire?As ive seen TomTom maps there.

Steve..Limeware, I dont use anymore due to getting bombarded with viruses. good idea though.
Boyd.. As iam new to this sat nav thingy, I will tell you all I know. I have the SPV2000 PDA from Orange, I have Tom Tom version 5 with UKmaps and a bluetooth Tom Tom sat reciever. I have not connected up anything at this point and just hope it all comes together in time for our little trip. Apart from the Euro maps can you think of anything I have missed out.

The SPV2000 is the same as my xda11 so i think all you will need is the maps, I take it you have a big enough sd card (Storage card)?
I use the same equipment as you and it all works well,although not used it in Europe as of yet.
