hi folks, expect a flood of questions & requests for daft little parts, i've renewed my membership & will have the "bloody car" lol on the road within a couple of weeks(honest-i'm trying my best to be realistic)
due to changes in my health & general fitness i've been over to the dark side & have been mostly screaming about on 190BHP of kawasaki's finest for the last year or so. my chiro & specialist told me in no uncertain terms to stop the manual work i was doing or i would be knackered before my time. i had to close down the bike painting workshop & the car stood in my garage for a year untouched, while i sought employment of a less physical type.
being sick of driving a horrible little micra i threw caution to the wind & moved the car to my employers workshop-its taken a few weeks, but most of the horrible stuff is done(like cutting out the cleverly disguised bodge in the O/S floor/sill) & welding up the petrol tank, you have no idea how hard it is to source decent parts in the grim north .
got to retro fit the larger throttle body & sort the rather primitive extra injectors for the turbo, fit some electric gizmos that i bought from the great mr feeney himself(i knew what they were & what they did when i bought them 18 months ago )
also got to finish the paint job, some of you might remember its a bit on the understated side.
looking to mot it sometime in the next couple of weeks, so i'll keep you posted.
