How does tax exemption work, ie: how often (if at all) do they change the applicable years ? :conf2:
 
The current Government capped the date at December 1972 soon after coming into power. The previous Government had set it at a rolling 25 years which would have meant tax-exempt 280ZXs by now!

The previous comment is not intended to show any political bias, nor to highlight any anti-motorist, tax grabbing petty policy by any particular political party...:p

What's the probability it could all get scrapped with the excuse older engines harm the environment?
 
knowing goverments, highly likely.
Although a few old cars cause little polution compared to a 747, that's where they should be looking.
