Subaru diff backlash

Does anybody know what is a reasonable amount of backlash on a subaru R180 diff pinion flange should be as mine seems to have quite a bit.

It should be exactly the same as a Datsun R180. Isn't it around 6thou.

Thanks status but mine should be ok, just need to tighten the pinion nut some more to get some more preload
