Hi all,

Due to an unfortunate change in circumstances I'm having to sell up all my goodies, some of you will have no doubt seen I've already put (and sold - thanks folks) lots of goodies in the classifieds, but to save Steve B's finger from wearing out approving loads more ads I've knocked up this page:

Nice. I'll be honest and state I was hoping for way less, but thats certainly a more than reasonable price.

Both the Black car and the spares shell are now sold.:bow: (but not to me!)
The rest of the story is private unless Black Bug decides to sell his story to The Sun:rolleyes:
 
As far as the car goes, after stripping it down the true state of decay and bodge upon bodge upon bodge became apparent and although it would be salvageable - and I had hoped that I'd be able to do it given time - we're talking a complete front end rebuild and realistically I probably would've bolloxed it up anyway. So it's off to perform other useful duties elsewhere.

Other than that I'm dealing with redundancy, need to sell the house to downsize a bit and all the general crap that needs to be dealt with in difficult times, so not having two dissolving Zeds on the driveway is helpful ;)

In the meantime, feel free to buy stuff :D

Thank heavens it's just the ordinary crap of life that's caught you. I had a dreadful fealing from pmacs last line that you were off to join the navy!
 
LOL, well I could probably do with a new suit in case I have to do any interviews, but I'm just not keen on the Navy's choice of Iranian tailors these days ;)

you've got to examine the suit carefully. If it's got a round hole in it it'll be from an american bullet but if it's a jagged sort of shape it's a terrorist bomb.

Multimedia Software Developer - da da daaaa!!! Been working for these guys for what seems like an eternity now: http://www.simplestar.com making digital photo management/slideshow/sharing application. They've decided to switch development environments now from the one I know all about (macromedia/adobe Director) to developing in C++ which I know jack squat about and don't really have the desire to learn at my age in life ;)

Something will show up, I suspect I'll end up back in web orientated work once I've brushed up on eeviiillll Flash again, and figured out the horrors of CSS html, eee it's not like it were in my day no more!!

Would still prefer to just win the lottery though :D

I work in IT for a company called Computer Associates (CA) .... the industry is quite buoyant at the moment, do you have any contacts in recruitment ? If not I could probably find you some - agencies that specialise in placing IT people.
