Hey guys

Currently an active member on 350z-uk.net and thought I'd pop in here to see what's what

Few pics of my car, you may have seen me on the stand at JapFest and certainly would have heard me going round the track :lol:

I'd be delighted to know if anyone else has any pictures of the Zed, and best yet, if anyone got any video footage of me going round? I ended up getting black flagged after about 5 laps for being over the flyby noise limit :lol: which I'm actually proud of in a way! I did ask another member on the 350z forum to film me going round, he ended up filming the wrong car in the wrong session :lol:

Smudge, love the stance of your car.

Please don't be proud of making a lot of noise, many of the circuits in the UK are under threat of closure due to anti-social noise levels and high frequency of events.

We need to keep our circuits open so that people like ourselves can enjoy quick driving off the public road on purpose built, safe facilities.

I dont think you have heard the noise mine makes mate, I wouldnt get anywhere near a circuit.

On the subject of noise, they made a big fuss about lower noise limits for car going on the track then sent the drift boys out every five minutes and there was no noise restriction for them! If you are going to have a rule, why not have if for everyone.

Yes I totally agree - if it's classed as a 'quiet' day then that should apply to all activities. As you know John, that's the issue I have with the 'PPC in The Park' event at Mallory.

my I ask why it was so damn loud lol, and how you passed the sound check? it seemed to just open up a wall of noise after a certain rpm lol, sounded good though.

System is berk decats, motordyne xyz pipe, straight through 3" mid pipe to nismo backbox

Seems to have like a vtec effect after 4k rpm :lol:

Sound test is just stationary and holding it at 4.5k rpm so the engine isnt under load

Bit like when driving around town it has a nice tone, then just screams when giving it some :lol: love it

Ah that will be in the 3" bit lol few guys have 3" systems on there vg's and they sound evil.
