S13- 240z gearbox mod

Hi what spec oil are you guys using in your S13- S14a 5 speed conversions? just put mine together and will be fitting shortly.

Hmmm topic of much debate with the S13/S14 owners many say that GL5 rated fluid eats the synchros most say stick with GL4.....Me I use an ATF...anyway, who cares about the synchros, plenty more 71C boxes out there

I put GL5 in mine, 75/90 Part Synthetic - wait for it Halfords! The idea was to drain and refill after the first use (as it's been in bits). Used it once but not drained it yet
So might try GL4 then as I AM interested in synchro wear.
