Hi

Simple question. what’s the best way to remove internal plastic trim fixings/rivets without damaging the panels they are holding? I have to remove the C pillar trim and don’t want to damage or scratch the panel.

thanks

You should be able to just push in the central pin on it, and then the rivet should just pull out easily.

How many are you going to need … I might have some old ones/spares in the garage somewhere. You can collect them up from behind some panels once pushed through, but not all of them from memory.

edit: C- panel I think you could be okay …

That’s going to be the issue given new rivets are only $13 per 10 from the us but shipping is $50 which makes it uneconomic.
Think you need c40 rivets for all the plastic trim plus different ones for the inside rear light trim. I’ve got a pile sat in my Zcardepot basket in the hope that I’ll find cheaper on eBay. If I don’t happy to add yours to my order as I’ll doubt it will increase the postage charge given their weight

I have been looking too, happy if you get yours to have 20 for myself and share the shipping.

Ok Ill either order from US in a couple of weeks or track down alternatives - either way will acquire 20 for you and on need to share postage …. If you could give me dimensions of the rivets yep help my research as I’ve not got a single one to my name
