Not that there is anything obviously wrong with mine, (I.e. No real slack or issues to speak of) but I've been thinking about it and can imagine mine must be quite worn over the life of the car. I wondered what options there were for the future and came across this.

As Toopy said on our meet, I do like to "put my foot down" and drive quite hard so I worry that on a fast or a hard corner the old rack on the car may just decide to retire and throw a surprise party in the hedge. In fact are these things delicate / known to fail at all!?

The fact they're in the US might make the shipping a bit pricey. Also, I wonder if they only do LHD racks.

I guess there must be a decent firm or 2 in the UK that could do it...?

240z not listed + you've got to send your old one to them, more expense.
My experience of rebuilding steering racks is that it's pretty easy to do, right loading on the pinion and plenty of grease.
