I made a 2 1/2 inch for mine when I had the old engine in. I used 2 x 1mtr lengths, 2 x 90 deg bends and 1 45 deg bewteen the 2 90's. The back box was a (simons) oval, available from most motorsport shops. I got all mine from Merlin at CC. You could get all the parts from Demontweeks. Sounded great, not too loud. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iyfGE3aMNM

Got my back box off egay, it's from a supra, turned it over, chopped the mounts and fitted it with large cotton reel mounts 8mm, sails through noise, (but hey at the moment it don't make non:eek: )

Some shots in my gallery, as for the rest of my home brew it's all 2 1/2 no other boxes as the blower sorts the noise out quite well on its own.

Phil,

I got lucky, there was a one-side rear-ended Z32 being broken. I had the box from the side that was OK. No mods to the box itself I think, but local exhaust fabricators put it on so not 100% sure. They probably just had to weld on a hanger.
