Rear Brakes again....

Fitted a DJ kit to mine, So far so good on mine the handbrake seems to work (4 clicks) with careful adjustment of the pistons prior to fitting the cable

Wyn - I didn't notice any adjustment on the caliper. Maybe this is what im doing wrong. I was in a bit of a rush when I fitted though.

As above, only in the pistons.
I tried a few times to get the hand brake to bite right, but found it still poor till I had the pistons wound out to give the best pad/disc clearence and lever travel

As a side note, obviously drums work very well, whats the reason for the upgrade apart from if you like the visual look of discs?

All the back end will be apart so now would be the time to do it all. If I wasnt over engineering the Drivetrain, (custom cv shafts, 39 spline stubs and companion flanges) I would leave as is, as I agree the Z stock set up is very good for most everyday driving. Weakness does show on the track though after continual heavy breaking leading to brake fade
