rear brake and hazard problem

:mad: it never rains but pours sorted brake problem out on my imported 1970 240z all ok brakes and indicators work fine but when the MOT bloke put the hazards on the brake lights wont work but if you switch hazards of and use the indicators everything works fine:conf2::conf2::conf2: and they want £88 per hour to mend i cant think what could be wrong ive tried disconecting the brake lights from the hazard switch but that solved nothing no brake lights at all cant find wireing diagram to car downloaded a 1970 schematic but mine is different so no use any suggestions would be helpfull :bow:
 
are you sure you have chopped the right wires ?? i have done 2 imports with no problems.
 
sorted out ok it turns out that the hazard switch when activated cuts off the live to the brake pedal so resulting in no live feed = no brake lights sorted by giving pedal an independent live feed all well car now MOTed
