Nick Mason and Steve Greenhill are entered in the Historic section of the Bournemouth based Sunseeker Rally on 26th Feb in a 240Z - see www.rallyesunseeker.co.uk
They are car 106 - seeded 6 of 20 cars in the Historic rally.

I believe that Peter Harland had planned to enter in our old 240Z with John Stanger-Leathes but was unable to get the car ready in time due to work committments.

Debby is co-driving in a Cooper S - car 112

The Sunseeker is the first round of the HRCR Challenge, a stage rally series for pre '68 cars, and the HRCR Mini Cup.
There are 8 Minis on the Historic entry list.
Debby did the Welsh Rally last year in a different Mini but that was tarmac. I suspect this may be more like toboganning.
She is a fairly late replacement for Andrew O'Hanlon's usual co-driver who is busy with exams.

Nick Mason finished 9th Historic with co-driver Fred Tonguel.
A 2 minute road panalty dropped them from 6th.
Debby was 8th in the Mini (4th Mini of 8)

Good to hear they both finished well

I was down in 'Sunseeker' country last Wed and saw lots of signs about the rally - not much sun around though. I bet the stages were wet and rough - as I said before hard work in a Mini I would think.

I was at the Race Retro show on Saturday and 'manned' the Motorsport Safety Stand in the afternoon for Stuart Turner. He left the Show to drive down to the Sunseeker for a 'talk' and then was back on the stand on Sunday. No 240Zs at the Show this year Hugh!

Keep in touch.
