A google search for Fairlady S30 image would have answered this question...
"Did Japan get them too ?"
Even Wikipedia would reveal the answer

I think that unless your driving like an idiot then you could get away with a lot of things on a 240z. I have only ever been pulled over by the police once in a 240z. It was back in the late 80's and I was driving the car home from being painted. The car had no lights, indicators, glass or number plates and the doors were held shut with a bungie between them. They pulled me over just to look at the car and let me go on my way.
They should be on top but sometimes people put them the wrong way. It's not model or year dependent.
I think they look better slung under the bumper if they are fitted. Although they look best in the bin IMHO!
Thanks Pete but I tend not to trust Wikipedia and the layers of sediment out there. Hence looking for a definitive answer.

The 240Z and 260Z in the UK and possibly throughout Europe had the indicators mounted above the bumper to conform with minimum height (and therefore visibility) legislation !
Does he really exist? Had anyone met him or is he a virtual character?
