Question for Albrecht

They should be on top but sometimes people put them the wrong way. It's not model or year dependent.

I think they look better slung under the bumper if they are fitted. Although they look best in the bin IMHO!

AFAIK, the Facebook page said dealer in Holland. Look for the register page on Facebook, that's where it came from.

A google search for Fairlady S30 image would have answered this question...

"Did Japan get them too ?"

Even Wikipedia would reveal the answer

Thanks Pete but I tend not to trust Wikipedia and the layers of sediment out there. Hence looking for a definitive answer.

I think that unless your driving like an idiot then you could get away with a lot of things on a 240z. I have only ever been pulled over by the police once in a 240z. It was back in the late 80's and I was driving the car home from being painted. The car had no lights, indicators, glass or number plates and the doors were held shut with a bungie between them. They pulled me over just to look at the car and let me go on my way.

Wow! Those were the days. Imagine doing that these days and not getting arrested under the terrorism act ;)

Mine are he wrong way up and I have to say they look a whole lot better than when I rested them on top of my shiny new front bumper.

Agreed with Rich, they are warts on an otherwise beautiful flowing body.

I wasnt suggesting you read the article .....just look at the image or on any internet search at the dozens of images of Fairlady S30s. Every one has the curved lenses below the bumper;)
The point being that there was no need to invoke the oracle.... the answer is everywhere to see.

The second part of your question has been discussed at least twice before on this forum. The same people giving the same answers that they have this time round.
So once again a search would have revealed the answer:cool:

There are of course benefits in asking qusetions that have already been answered ..... it pushes up your post count total:thumbs:
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hmmm kinda agree but what I wasn't sure about was if it was the whole of Europe or UK only that had these delightful attachments hanging off the bumper like snotsicles or siting atop like old man specs! ;)

And as you know, I'm trying to compete with Don on post count! But I suspect I will fail dismally :p

And what you didnt know either is the fact that I used to be as aggressive and confrontational as certain other high profile members.
But I got to the stage I couldnt be bothered......;)
but Ill have another go .........:D

USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION before posting simple questions:smash::smash:

Im done now.. off to Spain at the weekend to sit in the warm sun and drink San Miguel.

Use the Search Luke ;)

Have a great time fella and don't go missing us too much

Who has the highest post count ?

I agree with Ali and his questioning and stated that it might have been more informative to all......and encouraged the oracle to come out if you'd retitled the thread to not merely mention a tiny 1% destination market.

Brilliant!!!!!

Thanks for sharing Pete.

And yes, I should probably have worded things better and not invoked the Oracle so soon! ;)

Does he really exist? Has anyone met him or is he a virtual character?

Albrecht aka "The Count" is a mythical character from a nearby Galaxy.
His worldly counterpart is someone i have known ever since I joined the Z scene.
We dont meet often but its always a pleasure when we do.:)

In 2000 when i restored my first 240z and went to the dutch RDW. for registration , i had to relocate those american indicators aswell. Now these days 2015 amercan indicators are allowed here in the Netherlands! regulations are changed for those indicators..

There are modern car's these days with front indicators built into headlights with clear glass which are not that obvious to see when the headlight masks the indicator.
I like the look of clear indicators but prefer orange for driving as easier to see.
