Pre sale warning for L28 Engine with N42 Head

I think a few combos have been tried with the LD28 block. Bit hit and miss from what ive read and getting the right rod/stroke ratio can be a bit of a pain.

Ok - I know where there is an LD28 for sale that's all. How much is the crank worth?

Ive seen an LD28 up for 550 quid also complete.

Supposedly the crank is worth anywhere from 600-800 but its finding the right buyer? RichieP might no more.

I think a good complete l28 must be worth £500 but if I was buying one I’d like to get it for nearer £350 . They are becoming harder to find over here. I’d be interested in how much it costs to get an engine over from the us.
