I believe top secret in Japan used the engine from one of these for one of it's z33 conversions

Memory is a bit hazy but wasn't the Bob Sharpe race 280ZX fitted with a Turbo-charged President V8.

IIRC it was used as the engine had to be from the same manufacturer.

Damn will have to try and find the article now
