New website banner needed

Any website gurus or graffic designers out there who could design the club a new banner to go across the top of the webpage. It needs to show at an instant what the club is about so new viewers want to look in
 
I was thinking maybe we should have a competition or something, some form of online vote and I could announce it in the website article for the winter. What do you think?
 
And while you are at it what about a banner for the NEC.
Its not the fact that we need a new banner really we just need any banner as we aint got one!!

was hoping for something to be done prior to the mag coming out but with such a lack of replies maybe you are right and we should ask for submitions in the mag

which one out the suggestions do you like?
I like the plain one with nothing on it for it does show what the clubs about and wouldn't cost much to produce &nbsp; <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

I have a mate who used to be a professional sign writer person. He has an A2 plotter and can get lots of acrylic and could do us up a banner I expect for next to nothing.

If that's the sort of thing you need when is the deadline cos we need to design one first then I can take it to him and ask about it. Shouldn't be a problem.
