A new monthly mag' has appeared at the newsagents.

R.P.M - Retro Performance Magazine.

Looks like it's come from the Practical Classics team. Articles include "Build a V8 MGB race replica", "How to make adjustable coil overs" & "Mi16 lump in your 205 Pug".

Definately up our street. A pint for the first Z Club member to get their car in.

Very nice! Who makes it then? Have they ever thought of making it available in pdf format? (I can do that if you need a hand)

Current editor is Kathleen Yule and the glossy format has been with our printers, Blackwells in Great Yarmouth for many years.
Obviously members pay part of their subscription to receive the magazine exclusively. Any downloadable format would have to be on a "pay to view" basis. This might be a way to continue the supply of back issues which are out of print however. Perhaps you could provide some details and costings for the Z Club committee - there is a meeting this coming weekend where it could be discussed. E-mail to Club Secretary - see contact page.

Do they need anyone to proof-read the articles before it goes into publications? Might get rid of the spelling errors then!

was z club editor for four years and it was the best job in the club except for the proof reading part
spell checkers work fine and all seems right mag come back for proof reading then you can't use a spellchecker you have to try to do it manually

the problem with this is you have already read the articles prior to them going to the printers and you tend to read what is not there

tried at one time to get a different person to proof read the mag but this tended to cause a time delay and make the attempts at meeting publishing dates very hard

never found the answer and don't think we ever will as all of us are doing it in our spare time

If the articles are in electronic format, I'd quite happily proof-read them for you.

Understand what you're saying about the time delay, though...
