One is tempted to wish it was designed by Nissan but then Nissan have designed some pretty crappy engines and gearboxes in the recent past so it might not be such a good thing afterall..............

I think you're getting mixed up with French /Italian, Nissan engineering I feel is spot on.The only down side is the cost and ease of gaining more BHP if you require it!

oh no I like the invisible thing, especially in work... ;)
no worries I won't be posting as much as I used to in the old FREE 350zUk forum ;) There will be an alternative soon enough, I predict :)
Looking forward to see what you guys offer ;) any discounts or stickers? lmaooooooo

If you wish to go from A 2 B via the dealer with a gold card and a loan car that may just be Nissan!;)

There are only three things that have come from Italy that are any good, Wine,Women and Pasta! I have to say women because the wife's Italian!:D

Hi Everyone i have recently purchased a 350z and opted for the Nismo kit and wheels and have to say it looks loads better than a Porsche and a fraction of the price. I am looking at getting a turbo or supercharger fitted but can not find anyone decent to fit it. I will post pics just as soon as i can stop polishing it and playing.

Hope to get and give lots of tips from everyone
Happy new year

Ooh sounds like my kinda car :) I do very much like the Nismo kit for it. Welcome to the site :)

There are quite a few places where you can get Turbos or a Supercharger fitted. For turbocharging try http://www.g-force-motorsport.co.uk/aps_nissan.html they supply and fit the very highly regarded APS Twin Turbo. A few guys on the 350 owners forum have them fitted.

If it's torque you want... then it's twin turbo

I'm getting a remap soon, but I'm making 427 ft/lbs torque at the moment on the base 8psi map :D

Just bought a black '03 Nissan 350z (jap import), one of the headlamps has scorched glass from what appeared to be a problem with the burn marks from bulb. Anyone got any ideas?? Replacement cost/previous experience?x

Step one would be to check whether the bulbs have been replaced for a higher output type - the "glass" is actually plastic and will be more sensitive to overheating from a higher wattage bulb.
Step two will be to sit down and calm yourself for the lamp replacement quote which will be lots of hundreds of pounds unless you can find a JDM breaker. Call or PM for quote - will need your VIN to get an accurate part number.
