Hello everybody,
Just bought some coilovers for my 300. They are the new TEIN Mono flex kits direct from Japan. Now I know what many of you are thinking. I've heard a lot of people say that going the way of the TEIN brand is a bad bad idea due to corrosion problems and failures in some models. This is true of the cheaper end of the kits but I've listened to some testomonials of people who have bought, fitted and tested these new mono flex kits and they love them. I've heard nothing but good reviews about these babies, so decided to take the plunge. Was a bit annoyed as I had to fork out extra for them because of Japan hiking up their prices, but oh well. Now I got my hands on a set.
I've been running on stock suspension for the last 4 years since I bought the car. Changing from stock to a coilover setup will most likely be a shock to the system and drastically change how the car will feel and handle.
I'm looking for a garage that can both fit these coilovers and align the car afterwards as well. I did have a telephone number for a garage in Milton Keynes who would do it for £200 but managed to lose that.
My local garage says it would be roughly an 90 minutes per coilover to fit the whole kit and they would charge me something like £400 upwards!!
Can anyone offer any advice on where to get them fitted and aligned?
Help much appreciated.
