She looks lovely Nidge. What colour was it originally, or was some factory job, once upon a time? Unless my eyes deceive me, as the very dark blue ones originally came with the factory dark blue interior and plastics.

Lovley looking car, and I agree and unusual (but very nice!) colour. It does look very very fresh as well (which does point towards it being painted at some point), what colour code is on it? Can you see any edging marks and does it match under the bonnet?

There are some marks and "peels" make it obviously resprayed.
Originally, it appears to have been gunmetal grey, not checked the code on the chassis plate yet tho.
inside of doors, behind rear number plate show grey paint.
Will need to check with prev owner, who imported it himself, if he did the respray, otherwise I would find it tough getting a paint match if needed

so, car was sprayed in Japan prior to being imported in 2008.

So, needs a few bits touching up, is there anywhere that would be able to get a colour-match from a scan or something like that?

They can identify make and model from a single chip of paint on CSI :)

Nidge,
P&M Autopanels on the A49 Winwick Road, next to Ford main dealer will colour match paint or an aerosol can to colour of your car.

Good luck,
Mark.

Sorted, thanks for that Mark.

Left them my fuel flap and within a couple of hours they had a 400ml aerosol made up ready to go. :)
