Hi,

Well my 280ZX has now gone to a new home!....Sad to see it go, but I just wasn't using it anymore and it seemed a shame to leave it sitting in the garage any longer.

I will have to have a think and see what to get next....Another ZX?!

Just seen this car on ebay....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1984-NISS...omobiles_UK&hash=item1e8285f54d#ht_189wt_1170

1984 Z31 Anniversary model, right hand drive, with the digital dash and aircon etc!...Thought the anniversary model was a US only car?

Anyone know of this car?...Says the owner's in his eighties!

Cheerz,
Jez.

1st reg 2000. So a grey import?? From Japan??? Australia ??? A "look a like"???

According to Brian Longs book the anniversary model WAS US only.and TURBO only.
Silver over black Mirror glaze T bar roof.flared wheelarches with matching sideskirts
New 16" wheels
Inside.... "leather seats. special carpets. Bodysonic stereo and special steering wheel"

Hi Pete,

That's what I was thinking....probably a 'look a like based' on an Australian market car?, where I think that an upgrade package including the digital dash and aircon was available.

Probably find that the 139,000 miles qouted is actually kilometres!

The Australian market got an AE of sorts according to my aus friends and they look like that.

I only had one for a very short time. Not my thing really:unsure:
my knowledge of the whole range is based solely on what Brian long says in his book.:(
So owners like Quagmire are useful source of knowkedge.
Anyway... back to the car.
It looks unmolested.
Its probably all original.
If it came from Oz then its early years were on salt free roads. and its probably been garaged here most of the time.
Right up your street then Jez:D
Get it bought;)

I can confirm that the eBay car spent its early life in Australia. MJP customer of many year's standing. Car always well maintained and looked after. He has a 280ZX as well...
