Mallory Park will play host to a very special event this August Bank Holiday (the 29th), as Modsport and Thundersaloon racers - many of which have not been driven in anger for more than a decade - will recreate some of the greatest V8 saloon racing of the 70s and 80s.

Yep, I know about this and also seen all those racing in their prime.

Shame it clashes with the Oulton Park Gold Cup - decisions, decisions.

The problem with the Mallory race is that these sort of cars are often 'billed' and then don't turn up for various reasons.
