Deeply sorry that for reasons beyond my control I couldn't get to Japfest. I hope everyone had a great time. Consolation for me was that on Saturday evening a friend rang me up who had tickets and pit/paddock passes for CSMA at Brands. What a coincidence! I ended up parking the 260 right near scrutineering in the paddock (where it attracted a healthy number of viewers all day) and then watching much of the action from the pit wall. It was a great day out. Said hello to Matt, Ken & co at the Nissan stand. Followed a blue cabrio 350 home too

Great day, great track action, great turn out of cars and really good to meet up with you lot. Even wonderful weather, I must have sold my soul for that one!
I'll post some photos when I get a chance to down load them but there are quite a few on the 350 forum including the skyline that didn't quite make Camp!!

Yeah - thanks suzy, great day out, had a good time on the track... want another go now!
Got some footage of the Z lap, so if I can encode i suitably I'll try and upload it.
Unfortunately i didn't take enough photos though, so I'm eagerly awaiting more pics in the gallery.
Was good to meet some of the people on the board too, should have asked for their user name on here so I could put names to posters so to speak...

One of the 300ZX lot took a load with his camcorder, footage of the Z stand, all the Z racing session (with some good footage of the 350 apparently) and some footage of the later track sessions including the Scooby driver doing some drifting. There is a slight Z32 biases but it sounds a good record of the day, all the cars on the Z Stand are represented. He only wants a fiver to cover costs and time etc putting it onto a DVD for you.

Hi Russ, thanks for the comments, although i did get a bit quicker after a couple of laps, I was still about 10 secs a lap off the pace of the real quick cars that day! I thoroughly enjoyed it though!
Did I meet you on the day? shame if not, tried to find out who people from this board were!

Suzy...Just a quick follow up after last weekend...thanks again for extending the invite to us lot at 350zuk.com . We all had a great time and it was nice to see so many Zeds all in one place (this after all is a novel experience for us newbies to Zed ownership....)
We promise we won't be so wimpy with the Z club track session next year. I have posted a couple of pics in the gallery, and have some good old fashioned 35mm pics yet to be processed onto CD, but got a few of the run. Nice to speak to those I spoke to

It was nice to see all the clubs together as well. Shame we didn't have a few more classics.
I haven't had the chance to stick up a movie, I will test it now. And my pics are still on the camera until I find the lead
