Ok lets approach this a different way as most people on the forum don't seem to want to put up a post all you have to do is tick one or the other questions before you view the poll for the first time and it will then be counted.
you dont have to post anything else so no need to feel shy just tick one or the other

Hi Mike
Don't know which way to get the message, I do really.
I know that most of the 620 z club members don't like posting on the forum and a lot of them don't have access to computers, but it sure don't look good to when people who log on to the forum for the first time and then think only 12 members are going to the clubs major event of the year.
If I was a prospective new member it may turn me off from joining the club
don't know what the answer is? Who knows there may be a flood of votes when this is read

Well just as an individual answer, for me there isn't a button for "I'd like to go to Billing but haven't got the requisite number of brownie points yet. And being in the middle of staring a new business, don't know whether I'll have the time. But I don't want to click "no" as that would be a) sad and b) look as if I'm being disloyal to the club"

Not very helpful I know but just one bloke's view.

It's a difficult and thorny problem - those "on the other side" (hehe) post votes (and a lot of pointless malarkey) at the drop of a hat but don't necessarily give clear and unambiguous answers either.

don't think its as bad as first appears as each time a person looks at the thread it gets counted
so if a person looks at it every time it comes up as a new post it makes the number of viewings go up
