Not everyone's cup of tea I know but its what I wanted! :p

Hey! That's the main thing! But it does look good too.

Congratulations!! :)

Standard engine?

Thankyou.... ;)

Yep, decided to keep the engine stock but it will be getting a custom exhaust as soon as it leaves the workshop....

BTW, anyone know where I can get a set of new brakes for it?

When you say new brakes do you mean pads or calipers etc??

Dave Jarman does a nice Wilwood kit which is very good if not overkill though for a road car. If you have well bled breaks with goodridge hoses and some nice bitting pads you will be fine with stock items.

I got the Goodridge hoses from Ebay, there is a guy who specialises in them, and I got PBR high metallic pads from Mike Feeney for the front, rears I used standard items as the PBR's arent available for the rear.

It looks well you won't lose it in a carpark. What shade is it and where are you going to nail the plates?

There will be a square plate on the back between the rear lights and the front, I think, will have a stick on, on the front spoiler... btw, managed to buy a private reg for it last year: BIG 2605 ;)

On the brake question, I was asked to get some new pads... any pointers?

Love the colour !!!!!!

Cheers... original choice was black but yellow came out as the winner after much thought!

Ok, the workshop have now moved onto the mechanics and have requested:

- Front brake calliper seal kits (or complete callipers/pads)

- Exhaust manifold to down pipe gasket

Also, is a replacement steering wheel an easy option or will I need to get an adaptor?

Anyone help? As you might have guessed, I am not too technical, just a man who loves his toys and doesn't mind paying for them! :p

I'd give Mike Feeney a call for those bits, he will probably have them in stock and can post directly to your mechanics.

Where is he BTW :conf2:

re, brake hoses - we do the Speedflow variation. Speedflow actually produce a Datsun specific end fitting whereas Goodridge make it up out of adapters. I know what I prefer....in stock too! Custom hoses to order - let me know what you need.

Seal kits and gaskets usually in stock. Steering wheel adapters to order.

Thanks

Thanks Dave .It Took Me A Long Time Making The Patterns For The Diamond Trim The Worst Was The Rear Turrets . Phil

Most of my general repair parts are not listed on the Shop site - that only represents a little pinprick of what we actually sell. Call 01277 374201 to order - 9-30am 'til 6-00pm usually...
