I love it when the big boys want to play

Took my Zed 300 TT out for a little run yesterday down the M4.

Kept a sedate 70mph minding my own business. Then I spots him. Big fat yellow Lambo Countach doing about 65 ahead of me. He slows and forces me to pass. No problem.

Then true to form he moves to lane 3 and creeps past me like he's counting the spokes on my 19's.

I noncholantly glance to my right and his blonde passenger is oggling my Zed - nice!!

Easy to see why I thought. Then he drops in front of me and stays there. The body language was such as to say -'Come on if you think yer 'ard enuff'

So I stay at 70 and he then moves to lane 3 again and suddenly drops the loud pedal - for effect you understand.

I didn't give him the satisfaction of playing the game. I just thought - 'why?' He had nowt to prove (unless he had a lot to prove but I couldn't tell from the way he was sitting........)

Still it's nice when the anonymous Zed causes such reactions. Happens a lot I find.

Anyone else found this?

Yes similar thing happened to me the other day, a 911 turbo was playing around trying to prove something............I'm not going to mention speeds involved, they were not legal to say the least, lets just say we were cruising at X mph and he came up behind flashing his lights.....I booted it up another 50mph and wiped the smile off his face :)

Some cock in a BMW 4x4 thing tried that with me yesterday, and I was in my bluebird Turbo. :D

Still nailed him. I hate BM drivers. They think they own the road. (no offence to those here that own beemers, you are all really nice people, and not tarred with the same brush. )

i have the same problem but it always seems to be someone in a mondeo !!!

your 300 TT looks sweet as with them wheels, me likey very much:)

Thanks - I ditched the new-ish Jade Rs that were on it the day I bought it - no regrets on the wheels.

People just don't know what car it is - I'm going to start winding people up now by inventing makes - any suggestions??

You mean like, Ferrambo or Lambarri:rolleyes:

What about a Zondari or Keonissan? or Veyronarigini?

Perhaps more exotic - Xentralisini or Draxilago? (sounds a bit medicinal)

Something simple - 'Jusswottheellisthat'

I was gonna ask that teacher from the Sudan what I should name the car but then I thought, nah...............

Most people don't know what my car is either, the other day some guy said

"I like your supra"

I've lived in my current house for about 2 years and my next door neighbour is the sort that knows everything about everything. (YOU KNOW THE ONES!) He is always telling me how he remebers the 240's back in the day and how he's worked on loads etc etc, so I was very surprised and slighlt concerned the other day when he asked me if my car was Italian!

To be fair a Jap sports car can actually be a bit Italian, a bit German, a bit American etc etc..................... it's called 'interpretation!'
