HybridZ

I saw the Darius vids a few years ago and they're still on my PC for regular viewing.

Gotta love that Z/R1 shootout :)

I STILL think the R1 should have had him :D The new R1 would I'd have thought, but he has modded his car some more. I chatted to him a year or so ago and he's still keen. I would like to get his dvds into our shop one day :)

zeeman1972: As for the manual, I bought mine from the shop and it was Sevent Edition. Whether enough has changed for you to warrant a new one I don't know :)

Thanks Russ, mine is also Seventh Edition. Think I'll wait a bit longer for Mr Knell to bring out his LS1 one then. Cheers.

Yes i must admit I too recaught the V8 Z bug from the Darius 240Z site and videos. I was going to put a V8 in my 280ZX about 10 years ago, did all of the homework, had the engine, but with one thing another never got round to it. Still continued to buy and drive Z'ds. However when I came across the Darius videos it rekindled my crazy plans and additional homework was done on the more modern fuel injected engines, my idea was to allow the engine to be tuned without making it undriveable. I had a tuned SBC 350bhp + 150bhp fog NOS system with a manual 4 speed in a 68 Camaro, almost impossible to drive normally, went like stink though!

Regarding the Darius Vids though, the one that impresses me most is the one where he roles past the cameraman and then nails it through 3 or could be 4 gears, braking traction to both wheels in each and gliding slowly across the road. now that is power. :D

i cant seem to get the link you put up for darius russ.....jeeze that 383tt is fast.....mmmmV8 very tempting.

It's a pity that there are not more of Darius' videos about, there are loads of him on bikes (he is aprofessional stunt rider) but not so many of his car.

For my own tastes he is spoiling it with the HUGE arches he is currently putting on and I am tempted to say that his car would probably be overpowered for the way I would want to drive. I gather that he has in excess of 700RWHP.

www.darius240z.com seems to have disappeared but his bike site www.servinitup.com is still there.

I have acouple of vids I could post if I knew how !!!!!!:D

You should be able to add vids to the gallery now :D

Yeh I'm not sure about his new wheel arches, and I love the losing traction vid too, but I'd sooner it bit and he was doing 200mph. Good for show but not much else.

I will have to buy his Servin It Up dvds, there are more of the Z on that I think.

Darius DVD's

Russ,

There is not much more 240Z stuff on the first one (I have it) than the vid caps available on any download site, Emule for instance. Don't know about the others. However some of the stunt work on the bikes is truly amazing!

I could lend you a copy if you want. PM me.

Cheers,

Steve
