So, I'm told that there are now more Z33s on the UK roads than 240Zs !
How many Z33s have been sold in the UK then and for a bonus, how many sold worldwide ?

Whoever told you in the first place that there are more Z33s than 240zs should have the answer as they nust know the figures before coming to their "startling" conclusion.
As to the Worldwide figure, I would suggest a quick call to the Worldwide sales boss at Nissan Japan will doubtless provide you with al the sales figures "worldwide".
But there again you perhaps already know all these figures and are just checking up to see if anyone else really knows!
Obviously they dont as judged from the huge response to your request!! Or could it be that nobody really gives a toss how many 350Zs have been sold (except the Nissan sales boss of course!) Surely someone is interested??????

Anyone?????

Seems that the 240 enthusiasts put up the most posts and the latest series owners really don't give a toss - sad as so many are comparing the two cars ! I thought someone might have put the question to the 350 site....?

Extra Supplies Of Nissan 350Z

(13 Jul 04)

Nissan sold out this year's original allocation of 1400 350Z coupés by the end of May, but it says the supply situation isn't as bad as that suggests. The factory has been persuaded to produce another 800 cars for the UK by the end of December.

posted by a 280zx owner not a 240z owner

only two 240Z owners in the forums top ten posters

believe it of not three 280ZXs in the hands of the top ten posters or thier families

3 260Zs are owned
2 350Zs
2 240Zs
1 Z31
1 Z32

but there again I thought we are all enthusiasts of the whole fairlady range other wise we would belong to one of the more exclusive clubs and not be posting on here

I don't have an exact figure for 350Z sales, but 2003 deliveries account for 840 units. The original batch of 450 units was fully pre-ordered within the first fifteen minutes of availability. A further 390 units for 2003 were secured to cope with the unprecedented demand. 2004 sales estimate was originally 1300 units (press release July 2003) to which a rumoured extra 800 units have now been added. So by December 2004 there will be 2940 350Zs on the road in the U.K.

The number of 240Zs on U.K. roads (approx. 160 or less) would have been exceeded in the first month of deliveries back in October / November 2003. The 350Z figures don't include additional units brought in by personal import from the Japanese home market which may push the total close to, if not in excess of, 3000 units. The 350Z is officially the majority Z in the U.K. and numbers surpass the previous majority Z which was the Z32.

Steve, Steve, what are you gassing about, of course I'm a complete Z/ZX man - read the latest post in 'racing' !

Nissan finally got it right then if there are more Z33s than the next highest seller - wonder when the ""s will outnumber ALL the Zs/ZXs on the UK roads ?

What does it say that there are over 100 for sale ? Speculation buying ? Are do people bore quickly these days ?
