Hot Weather = Better Fuel Economy?

What u talkin about you may ask, but my car is returning better mpg on its journey to work in this heat, why?
















THERE IS NO WAY IM GONNA SPOOL UP MY TURBOS IS THIS FRIGGIN HEAT LOL.
 
What should the oil pressure be? Mine is only 40 max even when cold. Is this O.K.?

theres a good question... just scourd the haynes and engine manuals and cant find an answer... be good to know this one :)
 
On a short commuter run the engine will reeach operating temp quicker and the oil will be thinner quicker.
But hot weather reduces your engine power as well.
You want a nice cool day for maximum HP!!!!!!!!!!
 
Stock oil pressure guage is rubbish, so many stories of them reading 0 pressure. I never look at mine tbh cant be arsed, but will wire up my aftermarket one soon and have a look what im getting then.
